Christian placed the tuxedo back into the box, staring at it with so much admiration, and refused to close the box till he heard the creaking sound of the door opening.

“What are you doing?”, Clarisse asked as she strode into the room in her nightwear.

“Nothing, waiting for you”,

“You can’t sleep without me? Ah”, she sighed,”you’re so much in love with me”, she said proudly, shaking her head with a smile.

“Bring your little head over here.”he pulled her closer and took her to stand before the mirror.

She smiled staring at him through the mirror. She was still staring when she saw him round her neck with a necklace. She gasped.

“A necklace?”.

He put it on for her and held her shoulder, looking back at her in the mirror.

“Do you like it?”.

She looked down at the necklace whose pendant is made out of diamond. Her mouth opened to speak, but no word came out.
