Chapter 21. I’ll Make You Never Forget

Clarisse pushed him away as she jumped up, her heart was racing and she felt uncomfortable to be that close to him but she immediately regretted it as she began to think that might have upset him and what if he beat her up like Victor did.

Christian reached out to her just then and she jumped back trembling, dodging her face with her arms, this act surprised him but then he clenched his fist and gritted his teeth.

She must have suffered some kind of abuse to have reacted that way.

Clarisse brought down her hand slowly when she felt nothing and saw him smiling at her,

“What’s wrong princess? Why do you jump? I don’t bite”, he said and moved closer to the dresses.

She was surprised he didn’t hit her, and she became curious about what his deal was.

“I’m told you refused all the dresses, is there none that’s up to your taste?”, he asked and looked at her,”tell me what you prefer, and I’ll bring down every designer here till you find your choice”,
