Chapter 84. Love and Fears

“How is he?”, Christian asked, dressed in his pajamas and ready to go to bed,

“Barely walking after we dropped him”,

“As wanted. I need you to open a personal account for someone”,

“Okay, sir”,

“You’ll see the details first thing tomorrow morning”,

“Okay, sir”,

“Goodnight”, he said and hung up and then retired to bed.

Stella was anxious as she sat in the sitting room waiting patiently for her husband with the money he requested in her hand. She doesn’t want to get beaten when he comes back but it was getting pretty late. She looked at the time one more time and furrowed her brow,

“This is unusual. Is he not coming back home tonight?”she asked herself as she looked through the window, but there was no glimpse of Durbar,”maybe.. he’s not coming home tonight?”.

She felt relieved; even though she was a little worried, she was glad that she would have a good night, so she proceeded to her room and retired to bed.
