Chapter 99. His Worries, His Smiles

Clarisse began to leap as soon as she was out of Alice’s sight, she couldn’t fake it anymore as it really hurts. She leaped back to the clear pack she once was, frowning her face with every step she took as the ankle really hurt.

She could hear someone running and raised her head to see Christian running up to her. She stood straight, watching him run to her, her heart melting, and her eyes got teary when she noticed the expression on her face.

I thought I had lost everything; I thought there was nothing left, even my dreams seemed like an unreachable cloud, but maybe I was wrong anyway; maybe it wasn’t over yet.

Her heart started beating so fast and all she needed was a hug from him.

Christian got to where she was standing and stopped running; he was panting, and written all over his face were his worries.

“Where have you been? I’ve looked everywhere for you, but you weren’t picking up your phone either”, he said, almost yelling.
