Nathan’s POV

I was extremely nervous for Amelie. No matter how many times C-sections were performed, it was still surgery. A doctor was cutting my wife open. I know this was the safest for Amelie and the babies, but I still didn’t want her in any pain.

Dr. Abrams and I scrubbed in and put on our operation scrubs, hats, gloves, and masks.

“So, are you ready?” Dr. Abrams chuckled.

“Shouldn’t I be asking you that?” I laughed. “You’re the one doing all the work.”

“Touche,” Dr. Abrams stated.

We entered the operating room, and Amelie was already prepped and positioned on the operating table. Dr. Abrams had opted for Amelie’s arms not to be tied down, but asked me to hold both of her hands during the surgery. They had her slightly tilted to the left so they
