Chapter 300. Morgan and Dutton: 8

Five and a half years later.

Dutton’s POV

It’s been five and a half years since I spent the night holding Morgan in my arms, and the same amount of time since I’ve been home to America. I took the accelerated economics program and completed both my degree and doctorate within that timeframe. I also wrote a book on Economics that earned me a Nobel Peace Prize. It took a lot of sacrifice, though. I haven’t seen Morgan in person in all that time. We video-call nightly and text nonstop, but seeing someone in person is different. Well, today that changes. The old gang is meeting in Las Vegas. It seems Nathan has a new girlfriend that he wants to introduce us to. Her name is Amelie, and by the sounds of it, Nathan is head over heels in love. I hope she’s not some brain-dead socialite after his money. Nathan is a good guy. But the person I most want to see is Morgan. I stayed true to
