Kimmy’s POV

“I’m sorry, Kimberley,” The director said. “You’re just not what we are looking for.”

“Thank you for taking the time to evaluate me,” I said, with a fake smile. “Can you tell me what I need to do to improve?”

“Well, for a start,” The director said. “Lose twenty pounds.”

“Excuse me,” I said, looking at him, confused.

“Lose weight. No one wants to see an overweight dancer,” he advised.

“I’m 5’9” tall, and I weigh 135 pounds. That’s the low end of the BMI scale,” I said, smugly. “So, if you think that I’m going to lose weight to work for a misogynistic fucker like you, I have one finger for you, and it’s not my pinky. Good day, sir, and by that I mean go fuck yourself.”

I turned to leave.
