Chapter 37. Lunch With a View
Amelie’s POV
Charlotte and Bernard walked into the treatment room. “Ms. Cavanaugh, Dr. Michaels, please follow us to your private dining area,” Bernard instructed.
Nathan lifted my hand to his lips, “Come, sweetheart, you need to see this view.”
Okay, I knew it was all for the show, but I liked Nathan's attention. At least I can pretend he has feelings for me.
Nathan led me out to a patio, and the view was spectacular. I walked to the edge of the patio and gasped at the view. A pristine beach was dotted with people walking in the sand, and the waves crashed against the shoreline. I could smell the mix of salty sea air and beautiful primrose planted around the patio.
