Chapter 53. Hi, I Am Your Mother-in-Law

As the weekend approached, as planned, Lani and Kane visited Maris. Having mentally prepared herself earlier, Lani wasn’t as shocked when they arrived at Maris’s penthouse as she had been before, just letting out a muted expression of awe at its beauty.

She walked comfortably, with Kane quietly trailing behind, carrying several bags of carefully selected items. Despite Kane’s offer to handle all the preparations and purchases, Lani insisted on personally choosing and buying things for Maris.

Entering the house, a household assistant was already there to open the door for them. “Thank you, Min,” Lani said.
