Jessica lightly tapped her fingers on the chair, occasionally throwing provocative glances at Kane and Lani. Upon witnessing this, Lani could only sigh. Perhaps Jessica had no idea of the impending troubles in her life.

Once Mike answered the call, Jessica immediately played the victim.

“Mike, the actor shooting the ad with me bullied me and even called her husband to join in cursing me. You must protect me,” she pleaded.

As soon as Mike heard this, he let out a cold snort and responded swiftly.

“Who is it? Quickly tell me her name. I’ll help you contact the director to replace the actor and shoot the ad with you.”
