Kane’s familiar hand gently traced Lani’s spine, the other hand supporting her neck, preventing her from pulling away. Despite the layer of clothing between them, Kane’s strong arm touching Lani sent shivers down her spine, the warmth palpable even through the fabric.
Behind Lani, a fiery warmth spread, her face flushed with a quickening heartbeat. She eagerly kissed Kane’s lips ten times, like a bird pecking at a tree trunk, before pushing away from Kane’s shoulders.
“Alright. Do you feel less upset now?” Lani asked.
