Chapter 87. New Travel, New Feelings

As they approached the car, Kane opened the door for Lani, never forgetting to give her advice.

“Maybe from now on, please wear a mask and sunglasses whenever you go out. You’re too beautiful, and it’s not safe to go outside,” Kane spoke with a serious expression, but his words brought laughter to Lani. Seating herself in the passenger seat, she nodded continuously like a bobblehead.

“I know, I know. Or maybe I won’t go out anymore, and we can stay home daily?” Lani teased, knowing well that Kane was being protective. The thought of it, however, made the corners of her mouth involuntarily curl into a smile. Kane drove home, responding casually to Lani’s banter.

“Sure, that sounds perfect. That way, you’ll be safe, and I won’t have to worry when I’m not around you.”

Kane’s tender concern made Lani find him incredibly adorable. She chuckled and leaned back, resting against the seat.
