Just as Octavius thought that things were going on smoothly, he was shocked when he discovered that Rhiannon had changed the rooms once more and every time he tried to get close to her, she would excuse herself.

It wasn’t that he didn’t want to ask her what was wrong and why she was angry with him, but he was afraid that after asking her, whatever he said would be so displeasing and also affect him.

Rhiannon went on for a week, giving him a cold shoulder while Octavius tried his best to get his attention.

At the same time, that one week had been torture to Kaylee and Mrs Clark in prison.

They had initially thought that Mr Clark would do anything and everything in his power to get them out but they were shocked and dumbfounded by what he did.

He ignored them and pretended that his family wasn’t arrested. Every day, he would go to the company early in the morning and go back home very late as he didn’t see the need to go home so early.
