Chapter 20

I ran inside and took the elevator I was shaking but I had to control myself as Lara will get worried so I composed myself and reached Lara’s apartment and rang the doorbell. 

It was opened by Lara as Moa had fallen asleep. I looked at him lying on the sofa and turned towards Lara who had a worried expression on her face since the time I walked in. 

 “Lara, please don’t ask me anything as I am not in the position to tell you about it right now, I will be driving to Aragon now as I have already booked a cab. My past is haunting me again and I need to go and prepare myself for the battle please don’t worry I will be fine and if anything happens I will call you.” I told her reassuring her when she was about to disagree. 

“Cassey, you are my daughter, how can I let you go alone I will come along too, I had promised Steve that I will always be at your side, I can’t just let you face it alone,” Lara said worriedly.

"Beth needs you here, please d
