Chapter 30

After a week I had just woken up and had come out of the washroom and heard my doorbell ringing continuously, I was a little scared thinking Larry was back but when I opened the door, I was shocked as it was Jaden standing there looking at me worriedly.

I smiled and hugged him.  Satisfied that he came to me personally. 

He was scolding me for not telling him that I was ill, he came inside and sat down on the sofa and held my hand, and asked me if I was okay. I had morning sickness, so I was looking pale. I told him I was fine then I hesitantly told him that I will be resigning soon as I do not want to work at Citadel International anymore due to personal reasons. He was surprised by my decision and asked me what the reason was and if the salary is the issue he was ready to give me a raise. I shook my head and told him; that I just did not want to bother him anymore. 

But suddenly, I had a puking feeling and excused myself and ran towards the washroom
