"Yes, hop in. I'll drive you home. It's late and it's not safe for a girl to be out alone." reiterated Patrick.

Flora shook her head: "You really don't have to go to such lengths. I can wait for Matthew."

At the mention of Matthew's name, Patrick's eyes darkened. No one understood better than he that Matthew would not come for her. He had already left with Selena earlier.
