I had to be dreaming. I was probably reacting terribly to my refusal of taking my sedative. Maybe I was seeing an angel who accidentally looked like Volkov. Or maybe I was dreaming...

But he was real. I looked at Finn and he looked quite uncomfortable. He definitely has something to do with this. What annoyed the hell out of me was that I didn't even know how to react to this. It was so sudden, I would have had a heart attack if I wasn't so healthy there. 

My mother was equally shocked. She went to the nurse and asked her to return later and when she came back, she pulled Finn out along with her, leaving just I and Volkov alone in the room. 

Of all the awkward things I had ever experienced, this was the most. Firstly, I wasn't expecting him here. Secondly, I didn't know how to take control of this situation. In my mind, he still hated me more than anything in this world.
