The next morning, I was driving out to the police station in one of Tyrone's cars he had let me drive. I barely slept last night and I had only eaten a bit because I was too aware of what awaited me. 

By the time I got to the police station, it was still as scanty as it had been when I came here yesterday. I guessed it was because I came here really early. 

I met with Lieutenant Kargan, who greeted me warmly. So much for being such a prick yesterday. 

"So any good news?" I asked anxiously.

"Definitely. We sent our detectives and used the intel we had on them already and we were ready to track them down. There's only one issue now," He responded.

Issues. I hated issues with everything within me. It only reminded me of how one mistake could bring us back to square one and I couldn't let that happen. Not when Scarlett's wedding was close.
