Chapter 100

That evening, Regina returned to the mansion from her check-up at the hospital. She had managed to stop Giannis from devouring her as he claimed he would. He had offered to drop her at Sanders Corporation, but knowing that she was going to the hospital for a pregnancy check-up, she had declined.

The doctor had elevated her mood by telling her that the baby was very much healthy. Regina couldn’t help but wish that Giannis had gone with her. It would have been such a beautiful moment.

She took out her purse and walked down the pathway leading to the house entrance. She hastened her steps, eager to meet Giannis. “Good evening, Mrs. Drakos,” the security guards greeted.

“Good evening,” she replied.

Passing the garage, she discovered that Giannis hadn’t yet returned, and she wondered why. When she got into the living room, the housekeeper walked up to her, “Good evening, Mrs. Drakos. How was your day today, ma’am?”

“Very well, and yours?”

“Good, ma’am.
