Chapter 103

The next morning, Regina left for work before Giannis could catch up with her. She did her best with makeup in order to cover up her swollen eyes due to crying all night long. Giannis’s attempts to schedule a meeting with her through her assistant, Pamela, were futile. This went on for the rest of the day, with Regina avoiding all of his calls and making sure there was no contact between them.

After work, she took out her gyming outfit and got into the gym. She was on the treadmill when she heard Giannis’s voice from behind her.

“Regina,” he said in a needy tone.

“How did you know you would find me here? If Pamela told you then, I guess she would have to tender in her resignation letter tomorrow,” she snapped, getting off the treadmill.

“She didn’t. Nikolos saw you and told me to come looking for you here.”
