Chapter 17

Regina sat nervously in the plush leather chair, her hands clasped tightly together in her lap as she waited for Sandra to get started with the contract drafting.

Giannis had stepped out to take a phone call. Sandra looked up from her papers and asked, “Are you that nervous?”

Regina had never thought she would find herself in this position, negotiating the terms and conditions of a contract marriage, but desperate times called for desperate measures.

“Nervous of what? Seven? That’s not possible,” Regina forced a laugh.

Giannis walked into the room, his tall frame filling the space. Regina couldn’t help but notice how strikingly handsome he was with his dark hair and piercing black eyes. She quickly pushed the thought out of her head and focused on the matter at hand.

Giannis wasn’t alone; there was another tall, lanky guy with him. Regina recognized him; he was the famous lawyer and heir of Petrakis Cosmetics, Nikolos Petrakis.
