"Did you sleep at the workshop last night? Alone?" Alden asked. Once they were both in the bedroom.

Alice, who immediately lay down on the bed, nodded softly. "Yes, I didn't want to be disturbed, so I asked the employees to keep my whereabouts a secret. I knew you would come looking for me there."

"And then?"

"I could work peacefully without any interruptions like earlier."

"And after that?"

"Nothing. Everything went well because I had a lot of tasks and work to do, so I was busy and could sleep well. Now, I just want to rest for a while. I'm very sleepy."
