"Plaak!!" The sound of a slap echoed in a hospital room. A middle-aged woman entered and saw her son-in-law lying on the hospital bed with a needle stuck in the back of his hand, connected to an IV bottle. Luna, filled with emotions, immediately slapped Alden on his right cheek, startling and confusing him with her current behavior.

"Why on earth didn't you use your brain? How could your wife end up in the hospital like this, just to investigate your own mother?" Luna pointed her index finger at Alden. "If you can't handle and take care of her, tell Mama, and I will take care of her!" she snapped, not caring if her loud voice disturbed others.

Alden, not understanding Luna's intentions and words, could only be stunned as he touched his warm cheek.
