"Do you want me to pick you up or what?" Edrik asked as his car pulled up in front of a campus gate.

Sherena, who was about to open the car door, immediately canceled her action. "You want to pick me up?"

Edrik nodded. "Of course. There's nothing wrong with me picking up my own wife."

"Well... it's not wrong, I guess. Didn't you say you'd be coming home late last night? Besides, I only have one class today. I don't want to disturb your work."

"True. Coming home late doesn't mean I can't pick you up, Sheren. I can do it." Edrik rubbed his neck. "Ah, but if you don't want to and have other plans, that's fine too."

"Emm... I don't have any other plans. I was just thinking of dropping by your office on my way home. So, you don't need to pick me up. I can take a taxi later."

Edrik nodded. "Alright then. I'll head to the office. Study hard to get a high GPA. I promise I'll take you somewhere very special if you get good grades this semester."
