Chapter 21. Camping on the Lake
"Where are we going?" asked Ratu when Sagara suddenly asked him to go.
Sagara fixed his sitting position. "Tomorrow, we will be separated for a long time. I go to Lebanon, and you go to Singapore. At least today, I want to take you for a walk. We don't know what will happen tomorrow. Who knows if today is our last day together."
"Last day?"
"Yep. No one knows how long our life and togetherness will last. That's why, at least today, I want us to be alone, away from the crowd."
Ratu raised her eyebrows. "When we're in the villa, it's not far from the crowd, right?"
Sagara laughed. "This time, it will be different," he said later.
