Chapter 42. Disappointed

"Are you awake?" asked Sagara. He sat down beside Ratu. His clothes hadn't changed at all. He still wore a suit, complete with a tie. He sat with his back to her. The doctor had gone home after making sure Ratu was fine. Perfect. In the room, there were now only Sagara and Ratu.

Ratu held her head. There was still a slight dizziness there.

"What happened?" asked Ratu.

Sagara swallowed. It wasn't enjoyable to reveal what happened.

A phone call interrupted the silence between them. Ratu was about to sit down. She knew it was the ringtone from her phone. Unfortunately, her body still felt weak.

"Can you please get my cellphone?" asked Ratu.

Sagara, who had been daydreaming, instantly nodded. He tried to smile. Sagara grabbed Ratu's cell phone on the table and handed it to his wife.

"Yes, Dad?" asked Ratu.

"What exactly did you do to do such an embarrassing thing, huh?" asked Danaswara.

"Embarrassing? What does that mean?"
