Chapter 38. Leaving the Hospital

A week had gone by its the day before the memorial service for little Arcenciel...

Zelina has been taking it quite hard, and the fact that she needs a wheelchair for the next month... We are leaving the hospital today... The doctors are happy with Lina’s progress so far and I am happy as well. I know it’s not possible for her to be healed up already just seeing her in a cast and bruises on her body it is hard to look at. It hurts my heart to see her like this.

My wife looks so much better today she has a real smile on her face and not the forced one I have seen all week. She is not as pale as she was a week ago. My heart could not take anymore... I know her heartaches because of her mom’s surgery, her father and sister’s disappointment and then the loss of Arcenciel. I cannot imagine how she feels, our lives were right on track and then it was not again... I know I sound crazy but all I can think of how in seven months my wife would have given
