Caroline’s POV
Because of what he said, I pushed him. It was as if I were broken, and my brain couldn’t process it right away.
Seems like I almost collapsed, but thankfully, when he mentioned the name Caroline, my spirit awoke. I grimaced at him, afraid that he had already figured it out and that my plan would be ruined. I let out every emotion and expression I could muster.
