Minnie followed her gaze and her brow furrowed slightly. “Why didn’t you just take Richard to the hospital in your car, Mr. Blackthorn?”

Zavian raised an eyebrow. He glanced toward the window, his expression unreadable. “I called the ambulance ten minutes ago. They should be here any moment.”
