Aidan’s POV

[Six months later]

I get out of the car after parking in the driveway. It is past 9 p.m. already and I am damn tired. I left work early today because I feel I need to rest so I won’t end up sick. I have been working hard these past few days and I am already considering a vacation soon, with my baby Lily. She is two months old.

I take long strides toward the house with my briefcase while losing my tie with my right hand. I exhale deeply when the tie is off and my phone rings Immediately.

It is Richard and I wonder why he is calling me this late.

“Jack of all trade?” I furrow my brows in confusion.

I have no idea what the idiot is talking about. He always call at the wrong time, either when I am too tired of his drama or when he wants to tease me about something and I will end up telling him to shut the fuck up.
