Chapter 100
Elysia's POV
As I approached the hospital room, I saw Damon being wheeled out in a wheelchair, fast asleep. Beside him were his parents along with Zara and her daughter. My heart sank as I realized my fears.
Feeling defeated, I walked up to them and hesitantly said, "Excuse me, how is Damon doing?"
Zara's expression was cold as she replied, "He's doing much better now that he's finally away from you."
Her words cut me deeply, and I felt a wave of hurt wash over me. "What do you mean?" I asked, my voice shaking.
"You know exactly what I mean, Elysia," she replied, her tone harsh. "You're the last person Damon needs right now. He's trying to move on with his life, and he doesn't want anything to do with you."
I felt a lump form in my throat as I heard her words. Damon's parents and Zara all glared at me, their eyes filled with anger and hatred. I felt like an outsider, unwanted and unloved.
I turned and walked away, tears streaming down
