Damon's POV
I sat on the couch, staring at the pictures of our twins on the wall. The servant came in and handed me a glass of wine before dropping the bottle on the table. Suddenly, Elysia woke up, and I turned to her with a cold expression.
"What's wrong?" I asked, not bothering to hide my indifference.
Elysia hesitated before asking, "Did you treat me like a slave before I lost my memories?"
My heart hardened as I replied, "It all started when you cheated on me."
Elysia started crying, "I don't remember how I was like. Should I apologize to you?"
I shook my head, "I don't need your apology."
As I got up to leave, I turned around to face Elysia one last time.
"One more thing," I said, my voice dripping with contempt, "You can forget about the love I had for you. It's dead."
