Chapter 110
Elysia's POV
As I drove down the road towards the beach Helen had picked, I encountered heavy traffic. The cars moved sluggishly, causing me to feel restless and anxious. I kept checking the time on my dashboard, hoping I wouldn't be too late.
Finally, I reached the beach, and as expected, Helen was already there. She had parked her car and was waiting with a big bag by her side. As I parked my car beside hers, I noticed that the beach was empty, with no one around except for us. It was just afternoon, and the sun was shining brightly, casting a warm glow on everything around us.
I got out of my car and went over to Helen, feeling curious and a little apprehensive. "Hey Helen," I said, "where are the company documents?"
Helen looked at me with a strange expression on her face, and then suddenly went down on her knees. "Elysia," she said, "I can never hand over those documents to you."
"What?" I said, feeling stunned. "What are you talking about?"
