Damon's POV
As Elysia's lips touched mine, I couldn't help but feel disgust. I remembered all the times she had cheated on me, and I couldn't bring myself to reciprocate her affections. I pushed her away, and she stumbled to the ground.
"Why are you doing this?" she asked, tears streaming down her face.
"Why? Because you cheated on me, and now you have the audacity to try and kiss me like nothing ever happened?" I spat out, my anger and hurt consuming me.
"I-I don't remember," Elysia stammered, looking lost and confused.
"You don't remember? That's even worse! You cheated on me, and you don't even have the decency to remember the pain you caused me?" I couldn't believe she had the nerve to play the victim.
