Elysia's POV

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" 

I yelled at him. He only slightly shook his head, it was like he understood my outburst but he was also quite fed up with it. He didn't like it.

His lips moved like he was going to say something and so I waited to listen to what he wanted to say. 

"There was no way I could've told you about that" his voice was calm, like the cold water quenching the fire burning in my heart. He looked like his patience was stretched thin but he was trying so hard to not yell back at me. He needed to be the rational one in the room and I was hugging my role quite well.

"Why couldn't you?" It made no sense to me, they had told me that Ian was my child and I was married to Damon but they couldn't tell me that I had a child that had died?

"You had just had the accident , I didn't want you to be confused and I didn't want to see you hurt any more than you already were"
