Chapter 59

Elysia's POV

I woke up to a lot of rustling. I had no idea when I slept off but I could remember crying on the king-sized bed and now I am here.

I rubbed my eyes to get rid of the sleep, I saw Damon hunched over our luggage trying to put them together. 

I felt my heart break into two, I watched him pack one piece of cloth one after the other paying me no attention.

He was leaving me. The thought brought a fresh set of tears to my eyes, I struggled not to let them out.

I was pathetic.

"Damon?" I called out.

He paused but didn't turn around. I sighed.

"Damon, please don't leave," I said sadly.

"What?" He asked but he still didn't turn to me. My lips curled into a pout as I stared at his back. The muscles rippled through his shirt as he continued folding his clothes.

"Why won't you answer me? Are you leaving..." But, before I could voice my concerns, he screamed, "Elysia, we're going back to San Jose!"
