Damon's POV

I have always been a paranoid, man. My instincts had never failed me and it was no different in the case of Elysia. Something about her seemed off and I just couldn't shake the feeling. I had to know for sure, so I decided to put her to the test.

I gave her the money when she asked, her facial expressions told me everything I needed to know. She thought I was going to say no if she asked.

I called Julius and asked him to hack into Elysia's phone. If she was hiding something, I needed to find out what it was. In the meantime, I decided to do a little reconnaissance of my own.

She hummed to herself as she went upstairs to get ready, I looked a the time and yelled.

"I am off!"
