Chapter 65

Jamal was surprised to meet Adele waiting for him in his private parking lot once the elevator opened up.

"Adele." He called, frightened as he stepped out of the elevator and rushed over to Adele who was standing by one of his cars.

"Adele" he called yet again and she looked up at him with an anxious look in her eyes.

"Jamal. What happened between you and Danielle. The entire office was talking about how you had your guards throw her out of the building. What happened?" Adele asked worried and Jamal rolled his eyes as he groaned in frustration. He had thought something more important was bothering her.

"Oh… that." Exclaimed, Jamal sarcastically. "That was nothing."

"What do you mean nothing? One of my colleagues said she was wailing like a widow whose children had been seized by her in-laws. You… you can picture that scenario, right? You can picture how devastated that widow would be, right?"

"Adele, why the hell are we talking about a distressed
