Chapter 90

“Baby.” Jamal called once he stepped into the bedroom and didn’t find Adele in it. He closed the door behind and walked over to the bathroom to look for her and there she was, trying to run the bath to prolly take her bath.

“Baby.” He called again and she turned to look at him. The stern look she had in her eyes a while ago was gone and all he saw was her beautiful ocean blue eyes that were sparkling.

“Hmmm” she answered and Jamal walked over to where she was standing.

“I didn’t do all those things for myself. I did it for you and I and even though things turned out to be pretty rough, all I wanted was the best for you, for us. Because I was in love with you. I still am.”

“You always get everything you want, don’t you?” She asked with a blank look.

“I always want very few things, Adele, that’s why I do all I can to get them. I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay.”

Her response shocked him.

“Really?” He asked in surprise and she nodded with a smile.
