Chapter 131. Assassin
Granny kept crying until her shoulders shook violently. She just called without saying anything. Her crying was so sad and heartbreaking that Sarah couldn't hold back her tears. She cried with her while occasionally wiping the tears with the tissue she was holding.
“Granny, don’t worry, okay? Dr. Harris is the best cardiologist. She won’t make a mistake! You’ll come back as healthy and strong as before! Trust me!” said Sarah, trying to smile between her tears.
Granny nodded,
“I know, I don’t want to die! I need to make sure you live happily before I die…”
Sarah smiled faintly, “Then don’t die, okay?”
"Sarah, the nurse will take your Granny to the preparation room," said Mrs. Jones, stroking her back.
"Wait," she said. She looked down and kissed Granny’s cheek softly, "I love you, Granny..." she said in a choked voice, and several other patients who saw them started to cry, too.
