Chapter 159. The Little Girl

"Hey, how was your day?" asked Adrian as he met Sarah at the mansion.

"Good, you?" she asked back, unable to hide her irritation because of Laura, who was always unpleasant.

"Well, quite busy; my dad couldn't see me spend my holiday; he always wanted to talk about work, and that's pretty exhausting. It's snowy outside; come down; I want to show you something," said Adrian cheerfully.

They walked hand in hand to the backyard. From a distance, she could see a maid half-running towards Zelda to help her enter the mansion. She knew she shouldn't be so excited because nothing that happened to her was real, but she couldn't help herself.

She rushed out of the room, making Adrian look at her in surprise. "Why are you running so fast?" asked Adrian, smiling widely. "I'm too excited, what are you going to show me?" she asked, blinking her eyes several times to tease him.
