Chapter 17
I just kept quiet and didn't speak as Apollo pulled me out of the cafeteria. Even though I could only see his back, I knew he was angry because of the tightness of his grip on my hand. It's like he doesn't give me a chance to escape, and I should just follow him.
We got to the parking lot, and he rang the lock on his car. He opened the passenger's door, and I don't need him to tell me what I have to do. I quickly got into his car and fastened my seatbelt. After a while, he got into the driver's seat and started the engine of the car.
Even though I wanted to ask where we were going, I couldn't. I can see that his jaw is tense with anger, and I'm afraid to ask because he might dump his anger on me.
I remember my mom being around people with angry faces. And I'm afraid because, like Mama, they might hurt me because of their anger.
