For what felt like the hundredth time in the past hour, Aria tugged her cloak over her shoulders, her hands trembling slightly and her cheeks burning as she kept her gaze down.

She had never been more grateful for the fact that she was a Luna now and because of that, people avoided staring at her. Usually, the stares, the whispers, the way the wolves and humans turned around, trying to get out of her way ---- it had all weighed on her like a curse.

But not today. Today she thanked the goddess that everyone was scared of her.

Because if they did, then, surely, they would have known.

That thought made her cheeks burn hotter, as her body burned crimson, the memory of what she had just done with Lucien slammed into her again, and she smiled.

The wall cracking, the snow tumbling in through the broken wood, the bed collapsing on them as she screamed Lucien’s name out into the sky, and the magic.

Her steps faltered, and she nearly tripped on a broken log
