Rose’s POV

With slightly trembling hands, a splitting headache and a grunt, Rose tore her eyes away from Aria and turned her attention over to Lucille. She had used her full force of will in order to even stop herself from looking at Aria’s weave.

Unlike Lucille, who had almost a century of experience, Rose didn’t know exactly what made Aria’s weave act like the sun. What she did know though, was that it was unusual.

No one should have that much power, no one.

She gently checked Lucille’s heartbeat, and she let out a sigh of relief after seeing that she was alright, just unconscious. With that thought, she held Lucille tight and turned her attention over to the battlefield.

This time, she made sure her eyes were not focused on Aria before she activated her weaver’s sight.

The world dissolved completely into strands.
