Chapter 60
The taxi driver nodded his head "Yes," and they went into the car. He took Arnold to a local bar, and Arnold looked at it from the car window.
"Is this the best in town?" Arnold asked.
“Not really, sir, but this is the best place to relax and have a good drink," the taxi driver replied.
"Okay, come with me," Arnold told the driver again to follow him.
They both entered the bar and took their seats. When the bar attendant came to them, Arnold ordered two bottles of beer, one for himself and one for the taxi driver. The taxi driver was surprised by Arnold and was thinking, "Why is he doing all that?"
"Sir, I would like you to give me half of my payment; after the drive, you can pay the balance," the driver said.
The driver is not sure if Arnold is going to pay him. At all, Arnold paid the drive one thousand dollars.
