Chapter 67

Dave and George carried Martha's corpse near the car that Allister had set ablaze; they couldn't take her to the mortuary, but Dave insisted she would be buried. Dave went out to get some clean stream water within the forest; he cleaned Martha up, washed out the swamp dirt, and cleaned her blood. He washed himself at the stream, too, like George. They left for Lucas' house to prepare for Martha's baptism.

Myelenko arrives at the Mexican airport, wearing a sports shirt like an athlete, carrying a school bag, and looking like he came for an Olympic sport. He calls on Allister to let him know he has arrived in Mexico. Allister wasn't picking up because he was on the bike, riding back to his claimed house. Allister didn't know his phone was ringing.

Myelenko called Allister more than five times but got no response, so he put his phone back in his pocket.

He came out of the airport, found a taxi, stopped the taxi, and entered the back seat.
