Chapter 179. Don’t You Like It?

“Mummy.”

The twins skipped toward her from the couch and she instantly squat down and hugged them with a wide smile.

“Aww my babies, did you miss me?” She muttered cheerfully and the twins nodded eagerly.

“Mummy misses you too.” She kissed their cheeks and stood up with them in both arms then suddenly heard a chuckle from the living room and her eyes darted to the couch with a gasp.

Carl gazed at the shocked girl with one hand splayed across the couch headrest while a smile was plastered on his face.

Clara stood transfixed in the same place as her mouth dropped. “W-What are you doing here?” She stuttered, finally regaining her voice.

“I’ve come to see you of course.” Carl chuckled as he stared at her cute expression which he had missed so much. He sighed happily. He still couldn’t believe that she was the little girl from that night. His smile widened and watched as she walked forward then dropped the kids on the couch.
