She slowly sat down on the side of the bed then took the girl’s hands and started caressing the huge diamond ring on her finger while a soft sigh escaped her lips.

“Pearl… I’ll be going back later with my Mum…” She started softly and sniffed with another sigh then continued after some seconds.

“I wish you could wake up soon, so I could get to apologize in person… But it seems impossible, right?” A sad chuckle escaped her lips as she continued stroking the girl’s palm.

“I’m so sorry for everything, Pearl… I’m very sorry.” She slowly wiped away the tear that had started trickled down on her face as her eyes were fixed on the girl’s peaceful face.
