Chapter 58. Funny
But her reply was stranger than his question.
“Yes, it helps me sleep?”
“What?” Greg furrowed his brows. “You were watching TV in your sleep?”
“No.” Her lips curved into a smile and she yawned. “The noise helps me sleep. I love it when the TV is on.”
That sounded more stranger. Greg’s frown deepened. But he didn’t let his mind linger on her weird habit and he lifted his hand to stroke her hair.
“Do you want to sleep more?” He asked, but she shook her head slowly.
Then she lowered her head, and when she looked up again, her expression had changed to that of gloom. He could see the sadness reflecting in her eyes.
“What is wrong,” he asked, concerned and worried, and used his hand to hold her chin.
She fiddled with her hands and whatever she wanted to tell him, never made its way pass her trembling lips. That wasn’t good. He didn’t like what her sad look was doing to him. His blood was boiling already and he wondered if someone came here
