And she went ahead to say, “I miss my brothers. I miss everyone back at home.”

“Oh.” Greg nodded as if he was interested, even though he wasn’t really interested. He wasn’t a fan of girly chats. Missing someone and mourning for people that are still alive was things only associated with girls, or so he believed. And he couldn’t help but wonder if that was the source of her sadness.

“How about I take you somewhere, Princess?” A thought came to his head and he smirked. “Somewhere you will have fun. Somewhere you’ll forget your worries.”

“Where is that?” Lucy’s eyes lit up. And as if she had suddenly thought about something, her shoulders dropped and she shook her head. “I can’t go anywhere public. People will recognize me.”

Maybe she had guessed where he wanted to take her.

But Greg wouldn’t take no for an answer. He was determined to relief her of her gloom.

“Don’t worry about your appearance.” He chuckled. “All you need is a little more disguise.”
